EagleStone Wealth Advisors is proud to announce that Marketing & Communications Director Megan Molloy has been selected as one of the Irish Echo’s “Top 40 Under 40” honorees for 2013.
The Irish Echo’s “Top 40 Under 40” is a selection of the top 40 Irish-Americans in the United States under the age of forty who have achieved success in business and their professional lives. Past honorees include politicians, academics, and journalists.
“It’s a privilege to be included in this year’s group of honorees,” said Molloy. “I am in good company with my fellow honorees, and I look forward to celebrating our collective achievement on February 21st in NYC.”
Molloy attributes much of her current success to The American Ireland Fund’s Young Leaders Society, a global, philanthropic network of young professionals whose efforts directly support needy charities throughout the island of Ireland. Molloy first got involved with the charity back in 2008, and that seemingly small decision to convert a lifetime passion for her Irish heritage into meaningful activity benefiting at-need people and organizations, triggered a series of events that eventually landed her in Dublin, where she earned her MBA from University College Dublin’s Michael Smurfit Business School. While living and studying in Dublin, Molloy became more committed to the future success of Ireland and its relationship with America.
In 2012, after returning to the DC area following graduate school, Molloy joined EagleStone Wealth Advisors, an independent registered investment advisory and wealth management firm, where she has spent the last year spearheading the marketing and communications efforts. Alongside her work at EagleStone, Molloy acts as Co-Chair to the American Ireland Fund’s Washington, DC Young Leaders Society. Her work for the American Ireland Fund syncs well with Molloy’s new marketing strategy for EagleStone, one which includes a significant commitment to the non-profit sector through corporate and charitable event sponsorship.

The Irish Echo is a weekly newspaper based in New York City serving the Irish-American community and is distributed in all major cities throughout the United States and Ireland. The 2013 “Top 40 Under 40” honorees will be recognized at a reception on February 21 at the Manhattan Club in New York City.
