Dr. Vicki Tang partnered with EagleStone as a Senior Advisor in December of 2017. Upon the partnership with EagleStone, she brought with her an impressive resume of education in accounting, finance and economics. As an Associate Professor at Georgetown University, she also brings a deep understanding of how to teach investment and tax concepts to individuals in a one on one setting. With impressive accomplishments in education, and being a valuable part of the Chinese community, Dr. Tang is a perfect fit for helping EagleStone provide the most complete information and the highest possible level of service to its Chinese clients, in English or their native language.

In addition to helping EagleStone in the role of Senior Advisor, Professor Tang is currently a tenured associate professor at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, in Washington, D.C. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Economics and English from Peking University in China and her doctoral degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Her interests include understanding the implications of accounting and securities regulations on reported earnings and disclosure practices, using information in financial statements and social media to predict future accounting and stock performance, investigating the impact of cultural preferences on the process and outcome of CEO successions, and exploring the relation between market sentiments and stock returns in the Chinese stock market. She is also serving as an advisor for FengHe Fund in China.
